Our Philosophy
The term "Custom Home" means many things to different people. All homes have floors, walls, rooms, windows and doors, and you can have more or less of them. But that isn't what we consider to be "custom." At Heartwood Homes, we build each house to be the right house for you. Every detail is designed around the way you live. We have built our business around customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. We do this by ensuring quality in every step, and by working with our customers to personalize every aspect of their homes to be a reflection of their lives.
No two Heartwood Homes are the same. That's because each home is designed and built just for you. I'm there on the job through every step of the process. If something needs tweaking, I will take care of it. If something special needs to be done, like a tiled shower or a fireplace that reminds you of cozy nights when you were a child, I'll take care of that, too. I've been building homes for over 40 years, including multi-million dollar houses in Hawaii and also in the most rugged conditions in Alaska. And for the past 18 years I've been building homes for people in Idaho who still send letters, still come to our "appreciation bar-be-ques" and who still love their houses.
Most importantly, I give you things you would never expect, and don't often see in similarly priced houses. A small budget doesn't mean you can't have custom cabinets and counter-tops, and it doesn't mean you can't have a master bath that makes you feel like you are in a spa. And really, if you are going to buy a house, shouldn't you love living in it?
